Help please, stuck on the first quest.

Hi

I started Minecraft the other day but I am stuck on the first task. I have been presented with a request for my name, which I gave, and the password. i don't know the password though! I have only just started and not met anyone yet who can tell me. I tried looking at my log but can't seem to open it.

Any help appreciated.

Put your log on the fire and tickle a spider.
